Edmonds Evergreen Pathfinders
What is Pathfinders?
Pathfinders is a fun, social, and hands-on way to learn new skills and discover the world God created for us. Children in 5th through 10th grade can become members. Membership is open to everyone regardless of their race, gender, or faith background.
Pathfinders attend camping trips where our volunteer staff will teach them survival skills and help them discover the exciting wonders of the outdoors. Engaging lessons give the children an opportunity to learn about crafts and hobbies, as well as offering them a taste of future professions the children may one day like to pursue. Pathfinders also get involved in local community service opportunities.
Pathfinders is a place where your child can learn about God and make life-long friendships, learn practical skills, and develop the confidence that comes with the success of achieving new things. At the end of the Pathfinder Year (usually May or June), Pathfinders will receive an achievement award along with honor badges as a reminder of all the activities they have participated in and learned about during the year.

Investiture Achievement
Both individually and as a unit with their peers, Pathfinders work toward completing the following curriculum levels based on their age and grade level.
Friend -- Fifth Grade Companion -- Sixth Grade
Explorer -- Seventh Grade Ranger -- Eighth Grade
Voyager -- Ninth Grade Guide -- Tenth Grade
Master Guide -- The top award granted to Pathfinder ministry. This indicates a person's commitment to the ideals of Pathfindering and to the Pathfinder organization and often requires two or more years to complete.

Teen Leadership Training
The TLT program is designed to challenge and empower the teen Pathfinder with new and increased responsibilities, while allowing them the security of doing so in a place they know and love. The TLT experience will assist the Pathfinder teen to form adult-Pathfinder relationships as an expression of their developing identity as teenagers.
Teen Leaders in Training lead units of younger Pathfinders, plan club activities, and attend conferences and workshops to improve their leadership and team building skills.

Pathfinder Bible Experience
The Pathfinder Bible Experience (PBE) is the Official North American Division Pathfinder Bible study program. Some affectionately call the program Bible Bowl. Each year, teams of four to six club members study a book of the Bible (alternating Old Testament and New Testament), memorizing large portions of God's word.
During the 2024-2025 Pathfinder Year, we are studying the books of Romans and 1 Corinthians!

Outreach
Our Pathfinder club loves to serve our community! We organize quarterly service projects with the assistance of our Teen Leaders in Training. Some of our past projects include making food and Christmas cards for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House, yard work for elderly church members, assisting at community trunk or treat events, delivering homemade bread to hungry families, and preparing care packages for the homeless. Have a service project you would like our help with? Let us know!
