What would ordinarily be a week-long VBS adventure has been condensed into 3 hours of fun for the whole family. This intergenerational program is run entirely by volunteers who have been background checked and trained to bring the world of ancient Canaan to life for families both big and small. Whether you're making crafts in the Israelite Camp, visiting the Israelite leader Moses, or participating in family-friendly games, your whole family will have tons of fun at Wilderness Escape: The Moses Experience!
Saturday, February 17, 2-5pm
2-2:15pm - Music and Opening Drama
2:15-4:15pm - Crafts, Games, Snacks, Meet with Moses, Passover Experience, Surprise Dramas!
4:15-5pm - Music and Closing Program
This is an intergenerational program, meant for adults, teens, and children to participate together. Families who participate in these activities together make great memories and can take time to bond at a relaxed pace. Children younger than 5 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
This event is completely free! There are no registration fees and food is included. Pretend currency "Egptian gold" are used to "purchase" crafts and snacks during marketplace rotations.
Ancient Canaan has been brought much closer to home! The event will be held inside Edmonds Adventist Church where it's warm and dry. The address is 196th Street SW, Edmonds, WA, 98026.
Snacks are available in the Israelite Camp during the event. Lunch will be served for all participants in the multipurpose room inside Edmonds Adventist Church from 12-1pm on Saturday, February 17. All food is free for participants.
